- i'm courtenay and i'm a blogaholic (hi courtenay). i live deep in the heart of texas in my own version of a frat house - me, hubby, and two boys, 7 and 10. i always wanted to be queen bee and now i am. in a previous life, also known as my 20s, i wrote for a big daily newspaper. i had other jobs but that's the only one i care to recall. i went to college in a small town deep in the piney woods of east texas, and there i met many strange and wonderful people that, 20 years later, are still some of my favorite on the planet. a friend once told me that if i were to ever write a book, it should be called 'my life in small doses.' well i guess i'm finally getting around to it. only it's not a book, it's a blog. but i will dispense it in small doses. welcome. i'm glad you're here.
